France’s Public Television Takes up the Hot Potato of Ukraine’s “Hit Lists”

The Schiller Institute, as our readers know, is heading an international campaign to denounce the “blacklists” of so-called enemies of the Kiev regime published by both the Ukrainian website Myrotvorets and the Kiev-based Center for Countering Disinformation (CCD), which include dozens of members and associates of the Schiller Institute (cf. SAS 31-41). Many persons on those lists have already received death threats, and some have been killed. Helga Zepp-LaRouche is number one on the second CCD list.

An important contribution to the campaign comes from France, where the public television broadcaster France Télevision has decided to file an official complaint with the Ukrainian government over the existence of the Myrotvorets blacklist, and to submit an “alert” to the French foreign ministry. That is reported by the French daily Libération of Oct. 14 in a lengthy article titled “What is the Myrotvorets platform, presented as the Ukrainian authorities’ ‘hit list’?”

On that hit list are two journalists of TF1, the largest French TV station, and one journalist of France Télévision (together with his passport number). The state-owned broadcaster also told Libération that it has reserved the right to take the matter to court in order to protect its employees. The French foreign ministry refused to make any comment, which does not bode well for the protection of French citizens. The campaign continues…
