A Papal Visit to Africa in the Tradition of Saint Augustine

Pope Leo XIV’s trip to Africa, the first papal visit to the continent in over 55 years, took him to four very different and diverse countries, Algeria, Cameroon, Angola, and Equatorial Guinea over a period of 11 days. His secular message took up the need to end war and violence, to alleviate pover
